Over the past few weeks, an inappropriate trend called the Electrical Tape Challenge has been making its way round TikTok, seeing users taking their tops off on camera.

If that one isn’t really your cup of tea, then we’ve got an alternative option for you. It still involves tape, but a different kind. Rather than electrical tape, this one uses a tape measure – and it’s a hilarious prank!

There’s all sorts to challenges on TikTok, and there’s bound to be one for everyone. There’s dance challenges, food challenges, singing challenges and so many more.

But one type that everyone is bound to enjoy are the prank challenges. There’s something about playing a hilarious prank on a friend or loved one that never gets old, and we’ve got another one for you to try.

The Tape Measure Challenge on TikTok is so simple yet so effective, and it simply involves tricking somebody into thinking you are measuring them with a tape measure, but you actually hit them in the stomach with it.

For this challenge you’re going to need one of those rigid, retractable tape measures – not the soft ones.

Then, you’ll need to find the specific sound used for this TikTok challenge. It’s called ‘Bagaikan Langit’, and you can get it by finding someone else who has used the same sound, and clicking on the sound name underneath the person’s username.

Now, move your tape measure in time with the music, and make it seem as though you are measuring the person. On the fourth sound, drop the tape measure so that it swings and hits the person in the stomach. Make sure to film their reaction!
