We used several criteria to research more than 24 fire pit covers for our list. First and, most importantly, a fire pit cover must be constructed of durable material, so we stuck mainly to those that use high-quality 600-denier polyester with features that add strength and weather resistance, including double-taped seams, double stitching, and ventilation pockets. A cover should not blow off the fire pit, so we selected only those models with drawstrings and straps that hold the cover securely.
